Song Review - The Greatest Show - Panic! At The Disco

The Greatest Showman Reimagined Track Listing

When the track listing for The Greatest Showman Reimagined was realized, I realized The Greatest Show performed by Panic! At the Disco was everything I never knew I always needed. Think about it, Brendon Urie's vocals doing each part in that song... honestly, it makes me question how he wasn't up for the role of P.T. Barnum in the first place. Wow, could you imagine? Urie and Zac Effron going back and forth in The Other Side? But I digress.

Urie has the vocal range unlike any others. He has a theatric voice, and often does many covers including Bohemian Rhapsody, the Ducktails theme song, and most recently, Outcast's Hey Ya!. He also starred as Charlie in Broadway's Kinky Boots in 2017. His voice lends perfectly to this track. If I had any criticism, it would be that they omitted the three lines that Effron and Zendaya sing to each other on the original soundtrack. Other than that, this song is absolute perfection.

The full album will be released in two short weeks on November 16, but for now, head over to Spotify to listen to Panic! At the Disco's rendition of The Greatest Show!
